Regular Monthly Meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of every month at Ritchie Memorial Shelter House at 109 West Avenue in Tallmadge, Ohio 44278, with a 8:00 pm start time. Meetings are typically conclude by 10 pm.
Monthly Meeting Summary/Agenda
Meetings begin at 8:00 pm with reports from board members. Immediately following is the educational program that is conducted to promote the aquarium hobby. The educational program is typically a presentation from a knowledgeable hobbyist, but may be may be an online video, workshop or panel discussion related to the aquarium hobby. Following the educational program is a short refreshment break, after which the winners of the Bowl Show are announced, the BAP fish and HAP plants are auctioned, our Door Prize winner is announced, and tickets are drawn for the product raffle.
Speaker and Presentations last approximately 45 minutes and will differ each month with various topics, all relating to the hobby.
Bowl Show Entries Each month members can bring in fish for specific classes to compete for first, second, and third place. Members compete for annual awards by accumulating these points throughout the year. (Click Here for more info)
Refreshments are always free of charge and generally include water and pop selections along with appetizing snack and finger foods.
BAP & HAP turn-ins are auctioned off during the meeting as donations to the club. This is a great way to get quality fish at a low cost. (Click BAP or HAP for more information)
Membership Door Prize is randomly drawn from our member sign-in sheet, and the prize is typically a gift card for various local fish stores. (Click for more info on Membership)
Equipment Raffles usually include equipment and supplies such as Tanks, Filters, Driftwood, Food, Decor, Medications, Toys, Novelties, etc.
