The Horticultural Award Program is a program that encourages members to keep and propagate a variety
of aquatic plants and to share the knowledge they have gained.
Certificates will be awarded for each reproduction or flowering, and plaques will be awarded for each level completed. With the HAP Program, for species credit, fill out the appropriate form, and turn in the propagation of the plant at one of our meetings or hosted events or after verification by a member who can confirm the propagation or flowering. Please donate $1.00 as a registration fee at a regular meeting or auction.
All horticultural specimens turned in as HAP entries during regular meetings are then auctioned off as donations to the club (or the items are placed on the exchange tables during the August picnic and December dinner). HAP entries that are turned in during our hosted auctions will be sold at the typical 70/30 split.
