AGA Convention, September 29 – October 2, 2022
The Chicago Aquatic Plant Society is hosting the Aquatic Gardeners Association 2022
Convention at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, Illinois, this September 29 through October
2. Speakers will present talks that emphasize aquatic plants and topics that appeal to all aspects of the aquarium hobby. This year’s lineup includes a couple of talks on rainbowfish by Gary Lange, how to set up a paludarium, aquarium photography and videography, how to set up a saltwater macroalgae tank, and various other aquascaping topics. In addition to the speakers, there will be two hands-on workshops where hobbyists will get experience setting up various types of aquascapes, a field trip to the Shedd
Aquarium, and a happy hour hosted by CAPS that is followed by an aquascaping demo by George Farmer. Finally, there will be a large vendor room with some of the leading companies supporting
the general and planted tank hobby and an all-day fish, plant, and equipment auction on Sunday.
