AUCTION RULES:

  1. This will be a Limited Auction: only fish, aquarium and pond plants, aquatic animals, live food cultures, and show entries will be auctions—no hard goods. The only exceptions are manufacturer’s donations. Exhibitors may choose to auction their entries. These entries must be bagged and entered in the auction by the exhibitor after judging is completed. Anyone (ie, seller) from the public can enter fish or plants into the auction and register for the auction at 10 -11 am.
  2. Proceeds of the auction may be donated entirely to GAAS or will be split on a 70/30 basis, with GAAS remitting 70% to the exhibitor/seller within two weeks from the closing date of the show. A breakdown sales list will be included.
  3. Once registered for the auction, items cannot be withdrawn.
  4. All items should be clearly marked with the seller’s unique 3-letter code (eg, use your initials), item ID number (each of your items should have it own unique number; ie, 01, 02, 03, etc), seller’s name, phone number and/or email address, common and Latin names (if known), quantity, and sex (if known). Items without proper identification will be considered donations.
