Our Next Meeting Is on Friday August 14—Note the 7 pm Start
Our annual picnic meeting is on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Ritchie Memorial Shelter House, 109 West Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio. Although we call it a picnic, but please do not bring any dish. Here are the details.
When & Where: Friday August 14, 2026. Start time 7:00 pm at Ritchie Memorial Shelter House, Tallmadge.
Menu: BBQ chicken, and a Hot dog bar with many toppings to dress it up. Baked beans, Potato salad, macaroni salad, broccoli slaw, fresh fruit, & desserts. (Please do not bring any food or drink to share.)
Cost at the door: Members, $5. Non-members, $15 (which includes a 2 year membership).
Details: It will be a picnic with no speaker or program. There will be an equipment raffle, but no bowl show. There will be no BAP/HAP auction in August, but if you’d like to turn in a spawn or plant for BAP/HAP, then that will be part of our “Fishy Exchange. The “Exchange” is for hobby-related items and for livestock. Just bring 1 bag (or two or more) of fish you’ve raised or have extra to share, a new piece of equipment or decoration, or some plants or live food and add it to the gift table. Obtain a ticket from Rich Serva when you arrive, and when your ticket number is called, then take something else home!
